“Aam Aadmi Party may be screaming aloud of clean sweep in the upcoming assembly polls in Punjab but in wake of internal feud and rising differences with central leadership, the party is staring at a major split ahead of polls.”
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is claiming to sweep upcoming assembly polls in Punjab by getting at least 100 seats out of 117. But in stark contrast to their claims, the internal rift within the party is growing at an alarming rate ahead of polls. Three of the party MPs have already locked horns with high command and dictatorship style functioning of Arvind Kejriwal.
The three MPs – Dr. Dharamvir Gandhi (Patiala), Harinder Singh Khalsa (Fatehgarh) and Prof Sadhu Singh (Faridkot) have been vociferous in raising their voice against party high command for autocratic style of functioning and lack of internal democracy within the party. They also demanded that expelled leaders Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan be brought back.
AAP MP term Kejriwal as “Dictator”
It must be noted here that Patiala MP Dr Dharamvir Gandhi went on record to brand Kejriwal as “dictator” and further said that there is no difference between AAP and Mayawati’s BSP & Mulayam Singh Yadav’s SP.
Gandhi further slammed Kejriwal by stating that he is trying to lord over the party from Delhi like a viceroy.
Everyone wants to be CM
AAP is facing a major crisis of leadership in state and in absence of any credible leadership, Punjab unit of AAP is in a state of mess. Besides lacking organizational structure, AAP in Punjab doesn’t have a vision or agenda for the state. In the absence of political base and organization structure in state, every leader of AAP is aspiring to be next chief minster of Punjab.
“The curtain has been raised from the actual face of AAP leaders who have been presenting themselves as patriots. In reality, they are anti-nationals as the NRI wing of the party in Canada would hold a protest in the support of those students of JNU who had raised slogans in favour of Pakistan.
According to the information, the students studying in University of British Columbia along with some teachers who are the supporters of AAP would hold a protest to show the solidarity for the arrested students of JNU facing sedition charges.
AAP instigating NRI’s in Canada against the country
As per the information, the AAP party members in British Columbia are instigating Indian students and teachers in the varsity to come up against the ruling Indian government. The members are telling the manipulative stories of the recent incidents like Rohit Vemula’s case and JNU case. They are spreading the hatred feeling among the Indian students and teachers so that the party could get maximum funding from the NRI’s.
Anti-national forces funding AAP from abroad
The party was presenting a wrong image to the public that nationalism is on the top of the agenda. However, it is evident that the party has been receiving maximum funding from AAP. The posters of Kejriwal with the militant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale were seen in the streets of Canada.
The party had supported the Sarbat Khalsa congregation held in Punjab and even the party workers from abroad had funded the programme. In JNU incident, Kejriwal himself had joined the rally held in support of the arrested students of JNU at Delhi.
Moreover, the workers and supporters of AAP in Canada are holding meetings at different places in British Columbia in which the strategy to fan the flame of communalism has been decided. They are also planning to celebrate “International Support Day for JNU.”
The student wing of AAP in New York University had gathered at Washington Square Park to protest against the arrested students of JNU in sedition charges. Even they have recited the lines of the arrested JNU students which were spoken during the celebration programme of the hanged militant Afzal Guru’s death anniversary.
