AAP disrespects Punjabi language

“From 40% reduction in annual budget of Punjabi Academy to wrong recitation of hymns from ‘Guru Granth Sahib’, there are enough evidence that Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party convener, Arvind Kejriwal has no respect for Punjabi language and Sikh heritage.”

kejriwal-new_650_010814044936.jpg

Sikh community has played a very important role in the development of the country and Punjabis have been the building block of National capital post independence.

Punjabi language and heritage has been infused deep into the ethos of Delhi. But, it is really unfortunate that Delhi CM has been degrading Punjabi language and rich Sikh heritage.

Diminishing funds of Punjabi Academy

Punjabi Academy in Delhi has played a crucial role in preserving & promoting Punjabi language and culture. Academy organises programmes in collaboration with Government of Punjab, Sahitya Akademy and other academies of other states. The interaction with government departments and other academies provides an opportunity to Punjabi writers, scholars, and cultural experts to work towards improving Punjabi language, literature and culture.

It is now clear that Delhi government is undermining the importance of Punjabi language, its literature culture and heritage and is making all efforts to make it at least in Delhi.

It is pertinent here that Delhi government has reduced budget of Punjabi academy by whopping 50%.

In a sorry state of affairs, Punjabi academy has been operating without a secretary for more than a year and AAP government has not bothered to appoint the functional head of the academy. It shows their complete neglect and disrespect to Punjabi language.

Wrong representation of ‘Guru Granth Sahib’

In blatant violation of Sikh ‘maryada’ (guidelines), in a programme organised by the Punjabi Academy on the Talkatora lawns a few days ago, Ustaad Nelay Khan made mistakes while singing ‘shalokas’ of Bhagat Farid Ji from Shri Guru Granth Sahib and clapped while signing hymns.

Eyeing assembly polls in Punjab, Kejriwal has been busy portraying himself as the savior of Punjabis but ironically he has done enough to degrade Punjabi language, culture and Sikh heritage.

Around the Punjab in five days

“Kejriwal on one hand proclaims that he knows Punjab better than any other politicians of the state, on other side, goes on a five-day visit to understand Punjab. His well orchestrated event might have grabbed headlines but wide spread protest across the state has made it clear that it was noting but a sham.”

2015_10$largeimg24_Saturday_2015_115158938

The so called congenial liar, Arvind Kejriwal surely knows the knack of confusing people with his tactics. All his statements during Punjab visit were full of contradictions.

He went on proclaim that he knew Punjab better than anyone else then and at the same time he made a claim to visit each and every village of Punjab. Finally he planned a short five-day visit to state, which was also not completed as he had cancelled his visit to Patiala district.

Five-day picnic at taxpayer’s money

Kejriwal is spending the hard-earned money of Delhiites on self-glorification in Punjab.

He has mastered the art of hogging limelight and can stoop to any extent to gain brownie points. ‘Good’ or ‘Bad’ anything counts to him and Kejriwal knows how to remain in news. Rhetoric, theatrics, tall claims & promises marred his latest Punjab visit.

Leaving aside his earlier contradiction of knowing Punjab on fingertips, it is not possible to visit only a vast & diverse state like Punjab in five days. Capable of achieving miracle, Kejriwal would perhaps achieve the impossible with his magical prowess. Overconfidence of Kejriwal only speaks volume of his arrogance of a man who is born out of sheer ignorance.

Wide spread protest across state

It is pertinent here that Arvind Kejriwal’s five day visit to Punjab, faced protest wherever he visited. Black flags and ‘Go Back Kejriwal’ posters were seen across the state ahead of his visit. Showing mirror to his misdeeds, posters highlighting his failures and unfilled promises in Delhi were put by people of Punjab ahead of his visit.

Phoolka needs 100 years to bring justice to Sikhs

The Supreme Court lawyer, H S Phoolka who has been fighting the 1984 Sikh carnage cases in the court still needs 100 more years to bring justice to the riot victim families as he did not bring the case to any conclusion yet.

Phoolka did his Law degree from Panjab University, Chandigarh in 1981 and moved to Delhi. When the opportunist Phoolka witnessed the 1984 anti-Sikh riots, he had found his way to gain fame.

He had shifted to Chandigarh after the carnage but immediately went back to Delhi for fighting the cases against the accused Congress leaders. He had started his fight in 1984 and still he is fighting but he failed to bring justice to the victims despite after 31 years.

After the brutal killings of Sikhs, the victims approached the courts and as per the information, 442 rioters were convicted by the courts and 49 were awarded the life imprisonment. Even in 2013, five people were convicted by Karkardooma district court.

HS-Phoolka-Jagdish-Tytler

When Phoolka have ample of evidences and proofs against the culprit Jagdish Tytler then why he failed to bring the case to the end? Phoolka deliberately linger on the cases and now it’s been 31 years and the victims are still waiting for the culprits to be punished.

The former Petroleum Secretary, Avtar Singh Gill in an interview to Caravan magazine had revealed that a close friend of Arun Nehru told Gill that the lists of Sikh voters had been prepared and Nehru was controlling the PM office at that time.

Despite the big statement of Gill, Phoolka did not fight the case with heart and spirit because he is only befooling the Sikhs to gain the publicity.

Phoolka joined “Aam Admi Party” as he has seen a new platform to get himself a public figure. He fought the Lok Sabha elections from Ludhiana but did not make it. When he saw the ire of Sikhs who started blaming him to do something for them and punish the culprit Tytler, Phoolka played a stunt and announced that he resigned from AAP.

AAP_Ludhiana_Facebook

The resignation of Phoolka was merely a stunt only as he told his supporters to create a Facebook page mentioned, “ HS Phoolka as Punjab’s CM.”Phoolka has followed the footsteps of his boss Arvind Kejriwal who has mastered the art of taking u turns.

A Sikh scholar on anonymity basis told that Phoolka has been fighting the case since the beginning of his career. He got the fame and publicity because of this case only. In the country’s history, there are so many cases which came to the conclusion with in a time frame but this case is still going on. Phoolka has done nothing for the Sikhs but he used the sentiments of the victims to get the glory.

AK safeguards Jagdish Tytler

Chief Minister of Delhi has been witnessed safeguarding Jagdish Tytler, who was involved in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots case. The incident took place in the aftermath of the then Prime Minister Smt. Indira Gandhi’s assassination, where unarmed citizens of India – Sardar Thakur Singh, Badal Singh and Gurcharan Singh along with 3,000 Sikh families were killed.

1984 anti-Sikh riots were the result of targeted, one-sided attacks on Sikhs by mobs, which was operated with certain amount of planning and precision. Only the Sikh homes were targeted, as if the mobs at that time carried the voter list in their hands. Open display of arms and fuel was witnessed during the riots, which was not possible without backing of police. Even after the violence came to an end; police refused to register FIRs.

Kejriwal Hugs Tytler

k j

What’s most shocking is that Aam Aadmi Party’s National convener Arvind Kejriwal has been witnessed hugging the offender Tytler, the mastermind behind the 1984 carnage, in the recent past. “An innocent person like Tytler cannot be falsely implicated merely on the basis of charged sentiments and to satisfy the ego of some elements”, said Kejriwal.

Accusations against Tytler

jagdish-tytler

Jagdish Tytler was accused of number of cases which included murder, rioting, damaging a place to worship with intent to insult the Sikh religion as well as mischief by fire.

After that unlawful incident which took place on 1st November 1984, Tytler had in the form of bribe to the key eye-witness, had sent “heavy amount”. Not only this, he had send eye-witness’s son Narinder Singh to Canada, which was visualized by Kejriwal as a “sheer coincidence”.

“The allegations against Tytler are entirely fictitious and fallacious”, Kejriwal adds.

Something suspicious about the functioning of Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party came to light when the files related to ’84 Sikh riots were found missing. Was there a conspiracy of the AAP government to save Jagdish Tytler?

AAP loses its publicity in Punjab

With the massive win Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) in Khadoor Sahib Assembly seat; it has been proved that there is “No Wave” at all, in favor of AAP.

What is Politics?

Politics is the bustle through which people make, preserve and sometimes modify the general rules under which they live and political parties exercise huge influence on public discourses. Political parties are style gurus of politics and their opposition to policies affects almost all state actions. Social life and economics of the state can get paralyzed by their agitations on real as well as manufactured issues.

AAP ran away from Punjab

It was during the parliamentary elections 2014, when Punjab gave the new-born party, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), its electoral debut in the Lok Sabha with four seats. AAP who at that time, had failed to put up a fight to the main contenders, has now once again left the battlefield deserted before the fight started. This has put a big question mark on the political future of AAP in Punjab. Will AAP survive in Punjab till 2017 Assembly elections?

kejriwal-muffler

People of Delhi are now fed up from daily dose of ‘bandh’ or ‘dharna’ or ‘rasta roko’ by Kejriwal-led AAP, with handful of its corrupt leaders with a Party banner and any squander slogan on their lips. AAP, in Delhi, has not shown any shame in attentively cultivating and recruiting known criminals, corrupt leaders and charlatans as well as loud scoundrels. Soft spoken and non-corrupt leaders have been thrown out of AAP, which showcased Kejriwal’s dominance.

Punjab on AAP’s wish list since 2014

10TH_KEJRIWAL_1750918g

A big victory in the Punjab assembly has been on AAP’s wish list since 2014 but now it is clear that even AAP convener Kejriwal have failed to create an impact on people of Punjab, after they ran away from by-poll elections.

Besides, Ravinder Singh Brahampura, there were rebel leaders of AAP (Sumel Singh Sidhu) and Congress (Bhupinder Singh Bittu) who were expelled from their respective parties and Sukhdev Singh, Harjit Singh and Anantjit Singh Sandhu who fought by-poll elections.

AAP who has not been able to put up united face in Punjab attacked SAD leaders through their statement, “The ground is slipping from under the SAD’s feet, as AAP is coming to Punjab”, now one should ask AAP that if they were so sure of their win then why they did not contested this election.

What positive agenda do you have for Punjab Mr Khaira?

When AAM ADMI Party entered in Punjab and won four Lok Sabha seats in 2014 general elections, leaders from the rival parties who were declared “deadwood” got a chance to try their luck in the new party.

sukhpal-khaira-300x250

Sukhpal Khaira, who was declared as deadwood by his former Congress party had found a new platform AAP as he had failed in SAD and Congress. However, Khaira has no positive agenda for Punjab except levelling allegations against the political rival.

“Make hay while it is sunshine”, Khaira’s policy

A directionless and aimless, Khaira failed to get a higher rank in the new Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee team of Capt Amrinder Singh. But his meetings with Arvind Kejriwal at Delhi brought results and AAP accepted Khaira.

Khaira has a sordid past of taking advantages by switching over the parties. In a span of 20 years in politics, Khaira has not given a single independent positive agenda for Punjab.

Khaira: hungry for grabbing headlines only

Khaira has himself made a fan following in social media. Whenever an important issue rose in Punjab, he always gets ready to add his video clip on social media websites. Failing to present his own positive agenda for Punjab, Khaira plays his trick to level allegations against political rivals.

When Khaira was in Congress party, he held press conferences in Chandigarh against the ruling regime of SAD-BJP government. Whether he knew the issue or not but he had an agenda to speak against the party.

In Aam Admi Party fold, he has started targeting Congress party leaders especially Capt Amrinder Singh. Fingers raised at Khaira’s credibility that whey he did not expose the Congress leaders at that time. Why he suddenly started speaking against his former party leadership? Khaira is only a headline hunter.

After joining AAP, Khaira has been visiting in Punjab and making his video clips on different issues so that he could win the faith of public as well as his new party.

Khaira’s aimless vision for Punjab

In political rallies of APP, Khaira was seen raising the issue of farmers’ suicides, corruption, drugs and all. Despite raising the issues, Khaira has no concrete vision positive vision for Punjab except talking garrulously in a high tone to grab the interest of public.

People of Bholath had given him a chance in 2007 to serve them but Khaira did not deliver anything to them. Only he had made tall claims while contesting the election at that time. He was thrice defeated from Bholath constituency by SAD candidate.

AAP Punjab: Bunch of inexperienced, crazy people

“Aam Adami Party neither has a credible face nor a vision agenda to match its vaulting ambition to be Punjab’s next ruling party”

AAp punjab

In the run-up to assembly polls in Punjab, AAP is claiming a clear majority by securing at least 100 seats out of 117 but the state unit is marked by infighting, dissent and leadership crisis. None of the members of the state leadership are known public figures and there is no clarity on who the AAP’s face in Punjab will be?

aap-punjab-feb1-1_647_012116075808So far Arvind Kejrwal is the face of the party even in Punjab and they don’t have any other tall leader in party. AAP is on a hunt to find chief minister candidate for the state but has not been able to find anyone. The party tried to rope in Navjot Singh Sidhu, BJP leader and former MP from Amritsar but failed to do so. AAP was then desperate to get Manpreet Singh Badal, Founder of People’s Party of Punjab onto party fold but to their disappointment, he eventually merged with congress.

Aam Adami Party in Punjab may not have any difficulty in deciding party leader in state, but that is mainly due to the fact that there exists a complete leadership vacuum!

Furthermore, the views of the fragmented state leadership have proven to be jarring. Infighting within the ranks is regular feature and consensus amongst the leaders of the AAP in Punjab is very rare, particularly when a major decision is to be taken.

AAP’s predicament in the state was visible in its performance in the by-elections in Patiala City and Talwandi Sabo, which were held in August last year. Both the party’s candidates; Harjeet Singh Adaltiwala and Baljinder Kaur even lost their deposits.

Lack of vision in Punjab

AAP relies heavily on rhetoric and lacks substance. Besides lacking organizational structure, AAP in Punjab doesn’t have a blueprint in place. Be it agriculture, industry, education, health, water or electricity, AAP doesn’t have a clearly defined vision for anything.

AAP might have been successful in grabbing eyeballs by projecting itself as party with a difference but its bubble is about to burst. They may claim Punjab as their strongest ground but the fact that three times in a row after Dhuri by-election, AAP denied the electorate an opportunity to evaluate their offer of alternate politics proves that it is all hype and lacks no substance!

AAP in Punjab is a lack of collective ideology of its senior leaders. While some of them like to play on the nationalistic fervour, other members have a Left leaning, and yet many among them have Panthic leaning. Worse, each one of them sees himself as the next Chief Minister!
