Anti-Sikh AAP to enter Gurudwara politics

The Aam Aadmi Party has already revealed its anti-Sikh ideology by insulting the Sikhism so many times and now the party has set to enter in Gurudwara politics.

After taking the reins of Delhi, the party has been looking for the political prospects in other states too and now heading for Gurudwara politics by supporting Panthak Seva Dal, a new entrant in the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC).

The DSGMC elections are scheduled in the first quarter of 2017. The new religious outfit has elected AAP MLA from Kalkaji Avtar Singh Kalka as convener.

The AAP party duped the people of Delhi and now the party has been heading to befool the Sikh community again. In fact, the party has already revealed its anti-Sikh ideology.

During the campaign of Delhi assembly polls, the party had taken the matter of 1984 anti-Sikh riots in its manifesto. It was promised that a Special Investigation Team would be constituted and the culprits would put behind the bars.

However, the AAP-led Delhi government lost the SIT files and the Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal was caught as he was seen in a picture sharing the stage with the culprit of the Sikh carnage, Jagdish Tytler. Kejriwal was holding the hand of Tytler which depicted his friendship with the killer of innocent Sikhs.

The AAP Delhi leaders drew flak as Ashish Khetan equated the AAP Punjab youth manifesto with the holy Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji. Even the party had printed the picture of party symbol ‘broom’ with the picture of Golden Temple.

In Delhi, the AAP-led government had demolished the free water kiosk at Chandni Chowk Sikh temple and also vandalised the premises of the temple. There are numbers of incidents depicting the anti-Sikh mentality of AAP party.

Another AAP MLA in soup, AAP loses its vision

The Aam Aadmi Party seems to be losing its grounds as another legislator in Delhi Naresh Balyan is in the soup for assaulting a former AAP volunteer. A case was registered against Balyan by a former AAP volunteer and Mohan Garden RWA Henry George.

In his complaint, George has accused the legislators and his aides for trespassing his office and attacking him. The complainant has also alleged that the MLA threatened him.

A case has been registered against Balyan under sections 323 for voluntarily causing hurt, section 341 for wrongful restraint, section 451 for assault and section 506 for criminal intimidation.

As per the information, the legislators of AAP in Delhi have been facing criminal cases, and now Balyan has hit the headlines. It seems the AAP party has completely lost its vision as the main objective of the party was to serve the people. However, the party forgot its principles and headed towards a different direction.

More than 21 AAP legislators have been facing criminal cases, and around 14 have toured Tihar Jail. If the AAP legislators won’t stop involving in criminal cases, then the day is not far when the AAP head and Chief Minister of Delhi would hold the next assembly session in Jail.

The AAP party had promised the people to set an example of clean image political model in Indian politics. However, the party emerged on the top for producing a maximum number of politicians having criminal cases.

Anna Hazare had told Kejriwal not to form the party as he strictly advised him that how would he come to know the clean image of the party leaders and workers. Hazare had told that Kejriwal has completely changed now.

In a span of three years of its existence, the AAP party has produced a number of criminal politicians, and the party has broken all the barriers in Indian politics.

Delhi government takes U-turn on liquor licenses

The AAP-led Delhi government has taken a u-turn on the liquor licenses in the state as the government would not issue the new liquor licenses to restaurants or mall shops.

Earlier, the AAP government issued some licenses in the national capital and liquor vends opened in every nook and corner. The government suddenly realised because of the upcoming assembly polls in Punjab where the party has been claiming to eradicate drugs problem.

In Delhi, the AAP government issued liquor licenses frequently in the past and in Punjab the party was talking about the drugs issue. Finally, the government decided to stop the liquor licenses in Delhi so that the bad image of the party could be improved in Punjab.

Implementing the latest decision will not be easy. The government may well face protests and legal action from a large number of entities whose applications for new licences are pending with the excise department. Some of them have even paid the licence fee as per procedural requirements.

Delhi government’s data shows there are 704 restaurants with bar licences and 399 mall shops with liquor licences in the city. The number of government-run vends stands at 350. The party has promoted liquor at large scale in Delhi and Punjab, the party speaking about the drugs problem.

As per the information, the number of licences for retail vendors over the last two years had seen an increase of 48 percent.

Former AAP leader, Yogendra Yadav, who is heading Swarajya Abhiyan had fired a salvo at Kejriwal for giving 400 liquor licenses ever since AAP came to power.  As per the information, almost one liquor license was given every day.

The allegations of Yadav had punctured a big hole in AAP’s strategy for Punjab elections while at the same time condemning Delhi to deal with social and economic problems related to alcohol addiction.
