Kejriwal Plays Blame As Delhi Reels Under Health Crisis

As the dengue and chikungunya menace takes a toll on the capital, with putting Delhi public under major health crisis as per usual norm, the Aam Adami party yet again places the blame on Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung and BJP- run Municipal Corporations for allegedly failing to do their job

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal blamed L-G Najeeb Jung and Municipal Corporations for lack of preventive measures while Delhi government facing serious accusations of abandoning Delhi and being severely negligent towards the rising stats of dengue and chikungunya cases.

According to the National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme, around 27,879 cases of dengue were reported across the country and 60 people succumbed to the disease till August 31 this year. Around 12,255 cases of chikungunya with one recent death have been reported across the country.

On returning from Punjab this Monday, ever so conveniently Arvind Kejriwal tweeted “CM (and) minister left with no power now, even to buy a pen. LG and PM enjoy all powers with respect to Del. LG abroad. Question them for Del.”  Meanwhile, Kapil Mshra, cabinet minister claimed that considering the ongoing criminal conspiracy against delhi government, L-G deliberately sent the health secretary on a 12 day leave.

The BJP, in turn, accused Kejriwal of “abandoning” the people of Delhi and fleeing to Bengaluru. Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhyay said, “Delhi was never a priority for AAP. They always engaged in national politics and when Delhi needs them, they are all out of the capital. Everyone is busy campaigning for elections, abandoning Delhi.”
Vijender Gupta, BJP leader in Delhi assembly, said, “All the ministers are busy in campaigning for the party in other states. They don’t have the welfare of the people on their mind. Their only concern is to expand the party in other states.”

Joining the force, Former chief minister Sheila Dikshit also expressed her displeasure towards Delhi Government action plan; she said it was the state government’s responsibility after the AAP government blamed Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung and BJP-ruled civic bodies for the uncontrolled spread of mosquito-borne diseases.

“It’s an excuse for what you have not been able to do,” the senior Congress leader told NDTV, adding, “In this case, what is happening is that the you are resorting to a blame game because you didn’t do anything to pre-empt or prevent this kind of an outbreak.”

The Congress leader also defended the LG’s rights after the AAP blamed Mr Jung of being busy examining orders passed by the Delhi government.

“When you are in government, you talk with everyone. You are not in Opposition, He has some responsibilities and every file goes to him like every file of Government of India goes to the President of India. If you are going to be in conflict all,” she further added.

Virtually, the entire Delhi Cabinet is missing from action as ministers including Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, Satyendar Jain, Gopal Rai and Imran Hussain are out of station. While the CM is scheduled to undergo a throat operation in Bengaluru on Tuesday, his deputy Sisodia is in Finland to study its education system. Jain, who holds the Health portfolio, was touring poll-bound Goa and returned to Delhi on Tuesday afternoon. Rai is in Chhattisgarh and Hussain is on Haj pilgrimage.

Meanwhile, Union Health Minister J P Nadda stressed upon a strong need for close coordination between the Centre and states to deal with the crisis. “We will try to fulfil all requirements. Whether it is dengue or chikungunya, we should not panic.  We are ready to offer all help to state governments. This is not an issue for the Centre and states to indulge in blame game. We should work together,” said Nadda.

Arvind Kejriwal Won’t Become Punjab CM, Says AAP Spokesperson Sukhpal Khaira

Clearing the air on “concerns” raised by PPCC Chief Amarinder Singh on the possibility of national Convener of AAP, Arvind Kejriwal taking up Punjab CM post, party official spokesperson Sukhpal Singh Khaira categorically stated that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal would never become the Chief Minister of Punjab and AAP’s Chief Miniterial face indeed would be a Punjabi .

While responding to Punjab Congress president Captain Amarinder Singh’s claim that he would not allow a non Punjabi to become the Chief Minister of Punjab, Khaira said “Since Captain has already accepted his humiliating defeat in the forthcoming assembly poll, let us ensure him once again, that Kejriwal is not at all interested to leave Delhi to become the Chief Minister of Punjab and AAP would project only a Punjabi as the next CM of the state.”

He further on clarified that AAP leadership as well as Kejriwal himself cleared the air that he would not leave Delhi and will not shift in Punjab to become the Chief Minister of the border state.

“Yes, Kejriwal would stay in Punjab to ensure AAP emerges victorious so as to take party’s mission in pan-India,” Khaira added.  Further on Khaira questioned back Captain on his take on AAP’s Punjabi CM “Now Captain should clear whether he will welcome AAP’s Punjabi Chief Minister.”

AIIMS Files Police Case Against AAP Leader, Somnath Bharti

Over the past few weeks, there have been a series of allegations and complaints against AAP leaders. From charges seeking bribes corrupting the party’s said morals to bring all kinds of sex offence in the lime light, AAP leaders have outdone themselves in all areas. After MLA Amanatullah Khan, ex Delhi Waqf Board Chief, AAP leader and Delhi legislator somnath Bharti lands in fresh trouble as the chief security officer of AIIMS files a FIR for provoking the mob to damage hospital property  and  misbehaving with the hospital’s security personnel.

On September 9, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) officials  gave a written complaint , stating that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader “provoked the mob to damage the fence of the hospital with JCB at Gautam Nagar Nallah Road in order to give access to unauthorised persons inside AIIMS property and also misbehaved with security personnel”.

The police booked Bharti and six security personnel, after the medical examination under IPC sections 147 (punishment for rioting), 148 (rioting, armed with deadly weapon), 186 (obstructing public servant in discharge of his public functions), 353 (assault or use of criminal force to deter a public servant from discharge of his duty) and 3/4 Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act has been registered at Hauz Khas police station.

under IPC sections 147 (punishment for rioting), 148 (rioting, armed with deadly weapon), 186 (obstructing public servant in discharge of his public functions), 353 (assault or use of criminal force to deter a public servant from discharge of his duty) and 3/4 Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act has been registered at Hauz Khas police station.
however just like every other AAP leader under the scrutity ,  Bharti deined the allegation while blaming AIIMS for denying “legitimate access” to Gautam Nagar residents and charges that people dismantled a wall that was restricting their access was a “blatant lie”. Raging on Twitter, Mr Bharti said, “The wall will have to go in larger interest of residents, come what may.”

Mr Bharti, who is out on bail in a case of domestic violence filed by his wife, was detained in Chennai last week for taking out a rally without permission.

Crime against women rising in Delhi, AAP team busy in tours

The recent incident of a 21-year-old woman by two auto rickshaw drivers shocked the country but for Delhi government led by AAP party has another task on priority.

The Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal was busy in his political tour when the incident happened in Delhi. Moreover, there is no cabinet minister of AAP party present in the state as all ministers are busy in other states for the preparations of assembly polls.

When the AAP party contested the Delhi assembly polls, it was promised in the party’s manifesto that women security would be on the priority of the party. In Narbhaya case, the AAP supremo Kejriwal had demanded the resignation of then Chief Minister of Delhi, Sheila Dixit.

However, the crime against women increased in the national capital in the regime of Kejriwal government. The state emerged on the top in the country for maximum crime against women.

Recently, a 21-year-old woman, who was accompanied by her two-year-old daughter, was raped by two auto rickshaw drivers in Delhi. The Delhi Police arrested the accused, Pradeep and Abhishek on September 9.

The Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal was busy in Punjab when the incident happened in Delhi. Instead of delivering the promises to Delhi public, Kejriwal is busy in Punjab for upcoming assembly polls.

When the Nirbhaya incident shocked the country, Kejriwal told that Sheila Dixit had no right to remain the CM of Delhi anymore. At that time he had advised Dixit to submit her resignation on moral grounds.

But, in the regime of AAP government, the incidents of rape are on the rise. Why Kejriwal is not submitting his resignation on moral grounds as he advised Sheila Dixit after the Nirbhaya incident.

Satyendar Jain Gives A Go-Ahead Not To Department Heads, No Need for LG’s Approval

Driving the wedge even more deeper, Delhi Minister Satyender Jain directed all his departmental HOD’s to take decision on shadow or part files even as the original files are submitted to the LG office for approval.

After last month’s Delhi High Court ruled Lt Governor still being the administrative head and hence his approval is mandatory for any action proceeding of the centre, following which LG Najeeb Jung had ordered all HoDs to send those files where his prior approval was required.

However, under the pretext of said there should be “no delay” in executing the ongoing projects and works due to lack of decision from Lt Governor office.,  Satyender jain who has charge of key departments – Health, Power, PWD, Industries, Transport, Urban Development and Home it decided to take decision on shadow files as various important projects are being “derailed”.

AAP gorvermnet allegedly accused the Lt Governor’s office, for taking too long to approve as the decision making process in respect of many important issues pertaining to Jain’s departments has come to a “virtual halt”.

“As such a practice is derailing the implementation/commissioning of important works/projects and is detrimental to the public interest.”

“It is hereby directed that the concerned HoDs shall ensure that the ongoing projects/works are not delayed for lack of decision on such pretext (due to files submitted to LG office) and that appropriate action be initiated on the shadow files/part files, as the case may be, for appropriate action,” Jain said.

however, Jain also instructed his officers to not to take decision in respect of cases where there is specific directions from the LG office that the ongoing work is to stopped with immediate effect.

Considering the dissatisfaction of AAP government with High Court decision, this might just add “fuel to the fire” on the long-running battle with the Lt Governor on a range of issues.

Another One Joins The Club, AAP MLA Accused Of Molestation

Leave it to AAP and its members to have had an army of alleged sex offenders and with Amanattullah Khan’s name as a new entrant in the list, the party yet again subjected itself to be ridiculed.

A case under IPC sections 354A (sexual harassment), 506 (criminal intimidation), 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman), 120B (criminal conspiracy) and 498A (husband or relative of husband of a woman subjecting her to cruelty) was registered against Khan by his sister-in-law, acussing khan of putting illegitimate pressure on her to get into a physical relation with her. A complaint was also filled against her husband for demanding dowry and putting pressure on her to get “physically intimate.

After Delhi minister, Sandeep kumar expulsion from AAP, this is yet another sleazy scandal which has rocked the floor under Delhi’s ruling party, AAP, ultimately forcing Khan to quit his position as city’s Waqf Board Chairman.

Modi Is Hell Bent On Destroying The Capital Says The Infuriated Circus Clown, Kejriwal

Call him a drama queen or conspiracy theorist or for that matter even Santa clause if you may, you simply can’t ignore the most colourful personality to have hit Indian politics, perhaps in its entire Independent history. If you look at the antics of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, then he appears as anything but a politician.

When other parties gets by just pointing fingers at their opponents, our drama queen takes a step ahead by putting then under the bus and being the “main bechaari” of politics.

Having used the dirty antics way too many time still didn’t stop him from yet again accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi, being “hell bent” on “destroying” the capital through the Lt Governor Jung on twitter.

The emotional outburst was followed by LG Najeeb Jung’s order to transfer several IAS and DANICS officers in the national capital.

In the wake of Delhi High Court ruling of Lt Governor still being the administrative head of the national capital. Jung recently replaced Health secretary Tarun Seem with IAS officer Chandrakar Bharti while Ashwani Kumar has been appointed as new PWD Secretary in place of non-IAS cadre office Sarvagya Srivastava.

“We have got to know that Modiji has asked LG on phone to transfer these two offices. Modi can go to any extent. If education and health quality deteriorates, Modiji will be responsible for this,” he said.

Joining the crew even health and PWD Minister Satyendra Jain told the media separately: “LG is hell bent on stopping every work of the Delhi government.
“We had requested him not to transfer the two secretaries till March 31 as they were involved in developing Mohalla Clinics and classrooms in schools.
“They were doing good work but to no avail,” Jain told the media here.

Whether its praising, rubbishing, analyzing or in this case even attacking Kejrwal never fails to create a buzz around him.
