Ever So Diligent In Raking Up Drama, Arvind Kejriwal Confuses Noise With Actions!

Arvind Kejriwal, the L’Enfant terrible of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), has a thing for skirmishes. He loves to start a fight, but scoot to safety the moment his opponent challenges him to come into the ring. Recently, Twitteratti had a field day when the Delhi Chief Minister locked horns with Punjab heavyweight Amarinder Singh, the state Congress head.

A day after Kejriwal launched his party’s election trade manifesto in Punjab, Twitter exploded with a bitter verbal duel between the AAP leader and Singh. While both the politicos hurled insults at each other, Amarinder Singh challenged the Delhi CM for an open debate. Kejriwal’s AAP has been leaving no stone unturned to familiarize Punjab’s masses with the party. They have taken on sensitive issues like drug abuse in Punjab, and hope to turn it against the leading government run by BJP-backed Akali Dal.

But when cornered into getting onto a duel to debate about the issues of Punjab, the AAP chief chickened out, and how! Not someone who likes being told what to do, Kejriwal picked up the tactic that people with lack of courage usually do: offense being the best defense. He said the usual mumbo-jumbo of being ready for a duel, but, ONLY with Sonia Gandhi or Rahul Gandhi, Congress brass, and Singh’s party superiors.

Like, really? So Kejriwal thinks he is a national leader, and it’s beneath his stature to involve in a debate with a regional political leader like Amarinder Singh? So much for flaunting himself to be an “aam aadmi’s” leader. Why these double standards, Mr CM? No problems whatsoever in dreaming big, but why this conceited superiority complex?

Assembly polls in Punjab are just few months away, and AAP has announced that it will win majority. May be it will. But then Amarinder might be in the Opposition. Would Arvind Kejriwal then shake his head like a spoilt brat, refusing to speak to Singh? I don’t think so!

Kejriwal can’t be forever acting like a passive bully, only showing an uncanny bravado in taking on political heavyweights on the digital space. Kejriwal has been crying hoarse in a bid to gain some reaction from Modi. An attention-seeker, he has been saying the nastiest things about Prime Minister Narendra Modi for quite some time now. It’s another thing that the PM has refused to acknowledge any of his childish foul accusations.

And now, by refusing to talk to Amarinder Singh, Kejriwal has proved how much in awe he is of PM Modi.  The Delhi CM might not admit it, but Narendra Modi is his alter ego. The PM is everything that Kejriwal is not, and in denying to talk to a “smaller leader”, Kejriwal has emulated Modi.

AAP’s “Irregular” And “Unjustified” Expenses Go Against The “Basic Financial Tenets Of Public Expenditure

The chief minister yet again hit the headlines with a fresh round of controversy, wherein he has allegedly reported to have used annual budget of Delhi campaigns for Goa and Punjab’s campaign. With 1.5 crore allotted as Delhi campaign budget already been used by Arvind Kejriwal led Aam Aadmi Party.

This won’t be the first time when Delhi’s self proclaimed messiah skinned of the hard-earned cash of Delhiites to further on splurge it on a nationwide advertisement blitzkrieg. The reports have given ammunition to opposition parties, questioning the working strategy of AAP. Some of them even calling it a “misuse of the money of honest tax-payers of Delhi”.

“While Delhiites are suffering for basic necessities like water and electricity, the party is using the public fund for its political gains in several states.”

The rebel MLA of AAP, Devendra Sherawat also commented on the controversy and said “The Delhi CM has not taken any department in the government. This means he is full-time indulged to do politics outside Delhi.”

Further Calling it “unacceptable” to use money of Delhi for party’s campaign, he said “Delhi CM is neither fulfilling requirements of Delhi, nor he is doing justice outside.”

Following the treading controversy there have been many roumors taking rounds of Aam Aadmi Party is in a major tax trouble. The Income Tax Department has found that the records, pertaining to the funds that the party claimed as donations on its website, that were submitted to the Election Commission do not match with the list put up on the party’s website.

To save face to say the least, the party has deleted the information from its website.

Swaraj Abhiyan’s Accuses Kejriwal Of “Minimum Interest” In Governing The Capitol

Once AAP’s prominent ideologue and current president of Swaraj Party, Yogendra Yadav doesn’t shy away from launching a scathing attack on our beloved power-hungry Arvind Kejriwal. Calling a spade a spade, Yadav allegedly accused Kejriwal for taking an undue advantage for government provided resources in the name of creating party’s goodwill in other states.

The Swaraj India President, who was expelled from AAP for his “anti-party” activities after he crossed swords with the leadership last year, insisted on AAP having “minimum interest” in governing the capitol rather is more focused on capturing more and more states under their kitty, ultimately leaving the capital in a lurch. He allegedly claimed that AAP has always been ignorant of their duties, AAP ministers and MLAs for “often being outside Delhi” at a time when the city was struggling to cope with the vector-borne diseases.
“The AAP government is using Delhi merely as a stepping stone. They basically want to use Delhi’s resources, its visibility to step on to Punjab, Goa,” Yadav told PTI in an interview

He said the Swaraj group broke away from AAP as it “abandoned the basic ideology of internal democracy, financial transparency, swaraj, opposition to the new liberal economic policies”.

Alleging that AAP was being run as a corporate, he further charged AAP with befooling people through the “new experiment of political marketing”.

“Kejriwal had said AAP would shun the ‘high command’ culture of conventional political parties. Unfortunately, AAP has taken the ‘high command’ culture to new heights – the party has become one-man centric. Even the founding members were eased out of the party.”

Referring to the Delhi High Court judgment, which stamped primacy of the LG as the administrative head of the capital, Yadav said after the order, AAP has “lost all interest in governing”

“So, from being party which was obsessed with Delhi, it has become a party which has less than minimum interest required left in the state where it governs. They seem to have made up their mind that there is no juice left in Delhi. So, make use of Delhi,” Yadav said

The Swaraj Party has announced its dsire to contest in MCD polls claiming free education, free medicine, employment for all and a debt-free Punjab. Party spokesperson Prashant Yadav said the party would contest all 117 Vidhan Sabha seats of Punjab.

AIIMS Files Police Case Against AAP Leader, Somnath Bharti

Over the past few weeks, there have been a series of allegations and complaints against AAP leaders. From charges seeking bribes corrupting the party’s said morals to bring all kinds of sex offence in the lime light, AAP leaders have outdone themselves in all areas. After MLA Amanatullah Khan, ex Delhi Waqf Board Chief, AAP leader and Delhi legislator somnath Bharti lands in fresh trouble as the chief security officer of AIIMS files a FIR for provoking the mob to damage hospital property  and  misbehaving with the hospital’s security personnel.

On September 9, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) officials  gave a written complaint , stating that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader “provoked the mob to damage the fence of the hospital with JCB at Gautam Nagar Nallah Road in order to give access to unauthorised persons inside AIIMS property and also misbehaved with security personnel”.

The police booked Bharti and six security personnel, after the medical examination under IPC sections 147 (punishment for rioting), 148 (rioting, armed with deadly weapon), 186 (obstructing public servant in discharge of his public functions), 353 (assault or use of criminal force to deter a public servant from discharge of his duty) and 3/4 Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act has been registered at Hauz Khas police station.

under IPC sections 147 (punishment for rioting), 148 (rioting, armed with deadly weapon), 186 (obstructing public servant in discharge of his public functions), 353 (assault or use of criminal force to deter a public servant from discharge of his duty) and 3/4 Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act has been registered at Hauz Khas police station.
however just like every other AAP leader under the scrutity ,  Bharti deined the allegation while blaming AIIMS for denying “legitimate access” to Gautam Nagar residents and charges that people dismantled a wall that was restricting their access was a “blatant lie”. Raging on Twitter, Mr Bharti said, “The wall will have to go in larger interest of residents, come what may.”

Mr Bharti, who is out on bail in a case of domestic violence filed by his wife, was detained in Chennai last week for taking out a rally without permission.

Satyendar Jain Gives A Go-Ahead Not To Department Heads, No Need for LG’s Approval

Driving the wedge even more deeper, Delhi Minister Satyender Jain directed all his departmental HOD’s to take decision on shadow or part files even as the original files are submitted to the LG office for approval.

After last month’s Delhi High Court ruled Lt Governor still being the administrative head and hence his approval is mandatory for any action proceeding of the centre, following which LG Najeeb Jung had ordered all HoDs to send those files where his prior approval was required.

However, under the pretext of said there should be “no delay” in executing the ongoing projects and works due to lack of decision from Lt Governor office.,  Satyender jain who has charge of key departments – Health, Power, PWD, Industries, Transport, Urban Development and Home it decided to take decision on shadow files as various important projects are being “derailed”.

AAP gorvermnet allegedly accused the Lt Governor’s office, for taking too long to approve as the decision making process in respect of many important issues pertaining to Jain’s departments has come to a “virtual halt”.

“As such a practice is derailing the implementation/commissioning of important works/projects and is detrimental to the public interest.”

“It is hereby directed that the concerned HoDs shall ensure that the ongoing projects/works are not delayed for lack of decision on such pretext (due to files submitted to LG office) and that appropriate action be initiated on the shadow files/part files, as the case may be, for appropriate action,” Jain said.

however, Jain also instructed his officers to not to take decision in respect of cases where there is specific directions from the LG office that the ongoing work is to stopped with immediate effect.

Considering the dissatisfaction of AAP government with High Court decision, this might just add “fuel to the fire” on the long-running battle with the Lt Governor on a range of issues.

Another One Joins The Club, AAP MLA Accused Of Molestation

Leave it to AAP and its members to have had an army of alleged sex offenders and with Amanattullah Khan’s name as a new entrant in the list, the party yet again subjected itself to be ridiculed.

A case under IPC sections 354A (sexual harassment), 506 (criminal intimidation), 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman), 120B (criminal conspiracy) and 498A (husband or relative of husband of a woman subjecting her to cruelty) was registered against Khan by his sister-in-law, acussing khan of putting illegitimate pressure on her to get into a physical relation with her. A complaint was also filled against her husband for demanding dowry and putting pressure on her to get “physically intimate.

After Delhi minister, Sandeep kumar expulsion from AAP, this is yet another sleazy scandal which has rocked the floor under Delhi’s ruling party, AAP, ultimately forcing Khan to quit his position as city’s Waqf Board Chairman.

Modi Is Hell Bent On Destroying The Capital Says The Infuriated Circus Clown, Kejriwal

Call him a drama queen or conspiracy theorist or for that matter even Santa clause if you may, you simply can’t ignore the most colourful personality to have hit Indian politics, perhaps in its entire Independent history. If you look at the antics of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, then he appears as anything but a politician.

When other parties gets by just pointing fingers at their opponents, our drama queen takes a step ahead by putting then under the bus and being the “main bechaari” of politics.

Having used the dirty antics way too many time still didn’t stop him from yet again accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi, being “hell bent” on “destroying” the capital through the Lt Governor Jung on twitter.

The emotional outburst was followed by LG Najeeb Jung’s order to transfer several IAS and DANICS officers in the national capital.

In the wake of Delhi High Court ruling of Lt Governor still being the administrative head of the national capital. Jung recently replaced Health secretary Tarun Seem with IAS officer Chandrakar Bharti while Ashwani Kumar has been appointed as new PWD Secretary in place of non-IAS cadre office Sarvagya Srivastava.

“We have got to know that Modiji has asked LG on phone to transfer these two offices. Modi can go to any extent. If education and health quality deteriorates, Modiji will be responsible for this,” he said.

Joining the crew even health and PWD Minister Satyendra Jain told the media separately: “LG is hell bent on stopping every work of the Delhi government.
“We had requested him not to transfer the two secretaries till March 31 as they were involved in developing Mohalla Clinics and classrooms in schools.
“They were doing good work but to no avail,” Jain told the media here.

Whether its praising, rubbishing, analyzing or in this case even attacking Kejrwal never fails to create a buzz around him.

AAP Govt. Fails To Assign Special Prosecutors To Try POCSO Cases

Even though the capital has one of the highest rates of cases of sexual assault on minors, including rape, AAP government still remains to be in denial when it comes to handling such cases and ensuring speedy justice.

The Protection of Children Against Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act under section 32 makes it mandatory for the State government to appoint special public prosecutors (SPPs), who can handle cases registered under this Act only. However AAP government doesn’t feel the necessity of such rather have appointed already existing additional public prosecutors as SPPs for POCSO cases.

In the recent light of event, the number of POCSO cases has continued to rise, but State resources available to handle these cases have continued to fail and as a result there is a huge backlog of POCSO cases as the public prosecutors are overburdened.

Retired High Court judge Justice S.N. Dhingra pointed to extreme shortage of public prosecutors as a reason for delay in disposal of sexual offence cases despite existence of fast-track courts.

Recently, Delhi High Court asked the AAP government to get data on implementation of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act in other states in the context of pendency of such cases and the number of prosecutors dealing with them.

It also called for a report from designated special courts regarding pendency of cases under the Act, data of cases completed since 2012 and whether the public prosecutors attached to each of these courts were able to cope with the number of cases.

Advocate and activist Gaurav Bansal has contended that looking at the number of cases under the POCSO Act as well as other Acts in each of the special courts, completion of trial within the stipulated time was not possible if more independent special public prosecutors were not appointed.
Bansal has alleged in his petition that the government
has not appointed Special Public Prosecutors (SPPs) to handle the POCSO cases and instead, powers of SPPs have been conferred on Additional Public Prosecutors (APPs) to deal with the cases pending in courts set up under the POCSO Act.

The Centre submitted a letter on court on April 16, 2015, to which The Delhi government assured the court that since the matter had been clarified, an appropriate notification would be issued within four weeks. However, no progress in the matter have been made till date.

In fact, it has been over a year since then and instead of appointing SPPs, the government has authorized existing public prosecutors to handle POCSO cases.

AAP is broke, check our bank accounts: Claims Delhi CM, Arvind Kejriwal

Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal recently claimed on 22 August that the AAP does not have the money to fight elections.

Speaking to group of scheduled castes and scheduled t6ribes members in goa, the AAP convener said, “it would look odd but it is true that despite a one-and-half year of governance in delhi, AAP does not have money to fight election. I can show you my bank account, even the party does not have money “

Kejriwal’s comments come at a time when his party has already kick-started campaigning for the upcoming Punjab and Goa polls.

“When we contested in Delhi, it is the people who fought the election. AAP is a platform for everyone to fight for their better future,” the Delhi Chief Minister said.

However, contrary to Kejriwal’s claims, facts speak otherwise. Going by the Election Commission, the AAP is the fourth largest political party in the country in terms of receiving contributions. In the financial year 2014-15, it received contributions worth Rs 37.45 crore.

Only three parties – and all of them national ones – had received larger contributions than the AAP. The BJP, with 437.35 crore is at the top, followed by the Congress (Rs 141.55 crore) and the NCP (Rs 38.82 crore).

Once again Arvind Kejriwal proves to be a politician whose claims are high on hype but low on substance.

Why Kejriwal is not taking any action against Somnath Bharti?

“Aam Aadmi Party came with a promise of offering corruption free governance and as per their claims; there was no space for leaders with criminal background in party. Now one after another their leaders are getting booked in criminal cases but AAP supremo is silent.”

Born out of Anna Hazare’s movement against corruption, Arvind Kejriwal led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) drifted away from the basic tenets on which the party was formed. Transparency, honesty, corruptions free governance and democratisation were the pillars on which the party was formed. But, in hurry to climb up to top in single stride, it was no different than other party driven by hunger for power.

23 AAP MLA have criminal record

Delhi witnessed history being created with AAP coming to power by winning 67 out of 70 assembly seats. But everything was not spotless as proclaimed AAP chief, Arvind Kejriwal. According to a report by Delhi Election Watch and Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR), 23 of 67 party MLAs have declared criminal cases against themselves. This glaring fact came to light based on the self-sworn affidavits of all newly elected MLAs in the Assembly Elections. Besides, 44 out of 67 AAP legislatures are ‘crorepatis’.

No action against tainted MLAs

Arvind Kejriwal needs to come straight on AAP’s tainted MLAs in front of voters of Delhi who have elected him as the chief minister of national capital. Kejriwal needed to clarify to the people why he had not taken any action agaisnt Somnath Bharti even after the latter had been chargesheeted in a case involving a bid to kill his wife.

It is noteworthy that Somnath Bharti is not the lone legislatures to be chargesheeted in a criminal case and prior to that AAP leader Kumar Vishwas was allegedly involved in a molestation case.
