AAP double speaks on SYL canal issue

“The sad chronicle of outsiders coming to Punjab to offer fake sympathies with an eye on elections and then going back to betray the state within hours continues. Leaving its people bleeding, Arvind Kejriwal has betrayed Punjab for his own vested interests.”

Arvind Kejriwal’s double standard on SYL issue stands exposed; he is now running for cover. Known for his fickle minded approach on crucial issues, Arvind Kejriwal could never make up his mind on contentious & emotive issue of river waters sharing between Punjab and neighboring states. Eyeing assembly elections in Punjab scheduled for early next, he first took a stand in favour of Punjab but realizing repercussion in his home state Haryana and after affect in Delhi, Kejriwal retracted from his stand.

Deceives both Delhi & Punjab

Arvind Kejriwal might have begun his political spell with a promise of offering clean & alternative politics but his hunger for power has reduced him to a political opportunist, always trying to milk the vote bank.

On the contentious issue of SYL, AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal has allegedly deceived the people of both Delhi and Punjab. He first gave a statement in favour of SYL in Punjab and then sided with Haryana by supporting the demand of SYL construction and even went on to file an affidavit through the counsel appointed by Delhi government.

Facing public ire, Kejriwal ran for cover and used public counsel as scapegoat and stated that concerned government officials were consulted before filing the affidavit and the counsel acted on his own.

 Conflicting views of AAP leaders

While Kejriwal kept changing his colors like a chameleon on SYL issue, AAP leaders from Punjab took a conflicting stand on the issue and Bhagwant Mann even went on to make a emotive statement by stating that ‘his blood would rather flow in canal’

Kejriwal’s U-turn on SYL

“Aam Aadmi Party Chief, Arvind Kejriwal has been aptly termed as U-turn man. He didn’t even shy away from taking U-turn on contentious and emotive issues of river waters sharing between Punjab and Haryana.”

Arvind Kejriwal led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has backstabbed people of Punjab by taking a     U-turn on the emotive and contentious issue of river waters sharing between Punjab and neighboring states. AAP on one hand has been projecting itself as the crusader of issues faced by Punjab, on the other side it has failed miserably on its very first opportunity to declare its stance in a crucial issue afflicting socio-economic structure of state.

Kejriwal’s backstabs Punjabis

Punjab has suffered a lot in wake of construction of Sutlej-Yamuna Link canal and contentious issue was also termed as one of the major reasons for eruption in militancy in state. Kejriwal had opposed the construction of SYL canal during his recent visit to state. Desperate to gain sympathy of Punjabi voters ahead of polls, Kejriwal took a Punjab centric stand but changed his colors like a chameleon as soon as he reached Delhi.

Kejriwal took a U-turn and supported the stand taken by Haryana by filing an affidavit in Supreme Court in support of stand taken by Haryana. Kejriwal was initially vociferous in stating that construction for SYL cannot be resumed as Punjab doesn’t even have a drop of water to share with Haryana but later retracting from his previous stand, he stated that SYL should be contrcuted.

Kejriwal’s ‘Politics’ on water

Apex court had pulled up Delhi government earlier this year for not taking appropriate step to handle water crisis during Jat agitation in Haryana. Now, Kejriwal has raked up a controversy by supporting the stand taken by Haryana government.

In poll bound Punjab state, he first tried to milk the vote bank and later showed his true colors by siding with his home state, Haryana.

AAP leaders lost their direction on SYL issue

Kejriwal-Phoolka differ their views on SYL row

It seems the AAP leadership has completely lost the direction on SYL issue. The recent statement by the senior Supreme Court lawyer and AAP leader H S Phoolka has reflected that the party is full of the misguided missiles.

AAP leaders are giving their statements on the SYL issue which had sparked the ire against the ruling Delhi government by the legislators of Haryana. Even the Haryana assembly had passed the resolution against Kejriwal for his statement on SYL issue in which he had backed Punjab.

After Kejriwal, HS Phoolka commented on the issue to get mileage

Earlier, Kejriwal had deliberately commented on the issue without considering the consequences. Later, he had changed the statement also. Following the footsteps of his boss, the AAP leader H S Phoolka has now given his silly comments on SYL issue.

The misguided leader has blamed the centre government for the water crisis in Punjab. Though Phoolka blamed the Congress government for architecting the crisis but he has not commented on Congress whole heartedly. As per the information, the AAP is hand in glove with Congress and that’s why Phoolka not uttered the Congress name loudly.

He has come up with the comments that the Union government can resolve the issue of water. Phoolka held a press conference and gave his comments on the issue. It was just a political stunt of the lawyer to get fame in news. He tried to use the art of his boss to make his name in the headlines.

Kejriwal and Phoolka on the opposite tracks

The AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal was the first leader from the party who had given his comments on SYL issue. In his statement, Kejriwal had backed Punjab and said that Punjab had no spare water for Haryana.

Later, Kejriwal changed his statement and said that water should be given to everyone. After Kejriwal, another AAP leader Phoolka commented on the issue but they both are differ on SYL. The lawyer raised a different question on SYL which is entirely baseless. It seems the both leaders have lost their tuning and working as misguided missiles.
